Pastor Mercia Solomon lives in Quakertown and pastors both the Quakertown and Kingwood United Methodist Churches. Born and raised in the beautiful twin-island state of Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean, pastor Mercia previously served in the Paterson and Englewood areas before journeying to this part of New Jersey.
After serving in suburban, urban and now rural minstry, pastor Mercia feels quite at home in beautiful Hunterdon County. Pastor Mercia has been serving the Quakertown-Kingwood charge since July 2008. As a follower of Jesus Christ pastor Mercia believes that following Jesus gives meaning to one's life.
At both our churches we strive to be loving and embracing--our mission is to worship God in Spirit and in truth, and to grow in the image of Christ's likeness as we make disciples of Jesus Christ.
